Families who are planning to take a summer vacation to the United Arab Emirates may be in a position to cut down on expenses by obtaining the annual tourist visa waiver for young children.
As part of an UAE Cabinet initiative, children who are younger than 18 who travel with the parents in a trip to the tourist trip are not subject to visa entry fees from the 15th of July and 15th September every year.

Parents must submit their applications in the tourist visa for families instead of submitting unrelated applications for every traveler.
By using the appropriate electronic visa channel, applicants need to provide the information of their parents prior to adding their children’s and passport information. During the exemption time the system will identify children who are eligible under the age of 18 and state the exemption from paying the fees for visas.
To process visas that are not processed in Dubai families can make use of the Federal Authority for Identification Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security’s innovative service, the UAEICP mobile app or a registered typing center. Dubai applications are processed by the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs and Identity-Dubai’s digital services or authorized Amer centers.
Tourists may also get their visas through airlines operating in the UAE licensed travel agents or hotels that are participating. Hotels and travel agencies might have to require that travelers book flights or accommodations through them prior to processing the application.
